What Cause Adults Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence, commonly known as wet the bed, usually refers to the children urinate

There are five reasons which would cause adults urinary incontinence:

1) Stress Incontinence. This is quite common in the middle age and old age. Usually they can 

control the urine, but in some conditions, such as cough, sneezing, laughing, force, running, and 

stand up suddenly, the bladder was pressed so as to urine flow out automatically.

2)  Functional Urinary Incontinence. This type of urinary incontinence is unexpected, when nervous, 

emotional or hearing bicker, urine flow out unconsciously.

3)  Real Urinary Incontinence. Generally, normal bladder accumulate any urine, it will spread to 

the brain center and control urination. But when bladder urine accumulation does not convey 

information to the brain center, the bladder pressure will increase, as a result, urine flow out 

unconsciously.

4)  Behavioral Factors. According to the “Old Medical Handbook”, alcohol abuse and drug abuse are 

often the cause of urinary incontinence in the elderly. High caffeine intake of diuretics or others 

equivalent even sedentariness also promote incontinence.

5)  Trauma, such as trauma of pelvic fracture and in the process of having baby by women, etc.
